New Executive Board<\/strong>
\nOn 30th May 2024, the Insurers Association of Zambia (IAZ) held an Elective Annual General Meeting (AGM). The Association is comprised of all licensed insurance and reinsurance companies in Zambia; and it focuses on industry development, consumer education, lobbying and enhancing professionalism.
\nThe new Board is comprised of experienced members of the insurance industry, who are committed to see insurance grow as a vital financial service. The Board will serve a two-year renewable term.<\/span><\/p>\n

The New Board members are:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. President –\u00a0 Irene Muyenga (CEO – Savenda General Insurance)
\n2. Vice President –\u00a0 Collins Hamusonde (CEO – ABSA Life Assurance)
\n3. Immediate Past President – Moses Siame (CEO – Professional Insurance Corporation Zambia)
\n4. Re-insurance Council Chairperson – Selemani Tembo (CEO – Kenya Reinsurance)
\n5. General Insurance Council Chairperson – Rhodwell Sikazwe (CEO – Hollard General Insurance)
\n6. Life Assurance Council Chairperson – Kachiza Kwenda (CEO – Prudential Life Assurance Company)
\n7. General Insurance Council Member – Cynthia Simeza\u00a0 (CEO – Klapton General Insurance)
